AN UNKNOWN MAN - A POEM BY A.H. SCOTT

And, there he was:

AN UNKNOWN MAN

Overlook him, if you may
Yet, if you do - this may be you someday
Per chance of fate or an unspoken opportunity evaded or lost
He is a child of God and should be afforded the cost
Not of opening a wallet, purse or hand dug deep into your pocket
From you to him, nothing would be lost
Every soul is worthy of dignity
