RAINBOW FLAME - A POEM BY A.H. SCOTT

RAINBOW FLAME

World keeps turning
Haters keep burning
Those bullied should never feel the pressure to hide away
Castle walls of their own comfort can become a tomb
At some point, that comfort becomes a constriction freeing your own spirit to take flight
Self exile is not the way
The world is a more interesting place with such unique souls
Pale skin to cocoa cream, every hue is Heaven's dream
Short, tall, bony, plump
We all gotta rise to the top
No need to bitch
No need to moan
None of us are in this world alone
You may never be the flavor of the month, which gets him or her to sigh
No matter about that to get you to feel blue
Stay sweet enough in just BEING YOU....
